Agência Estado recently announced that the research division of Banco Brascan, Brascan Brascan Corretora de Títulos e Valores, has achieved the first position in their raking for best average of profitability in the Brazilian research market in 2007. Brascan´s research analysts achieved average profitability of 29.76% to the company´s clients.
Apart from the overall ranking, Brascan´s research analyst Rodrigo Ferraz was ranked 4th best national analyst, with average profitability of 39,2188%; and Felipe Cunha was selected 7th best national analyst, with profitability of 25,5681%. Felipe Cunha was also selected as the best analyst for the energy sector, with average profitability of 35,24% and as the third best research analyst for the oil sector, with average profitability of 82,32%.
